Titan Plumbing Group makes a float for the Fowlerville Christmas in the Ville Parade!

Each year, the “Christmas In The Ville” parade brings Fowlerville to life with festive cheer, and Titan Plumbing Group is proud to be a part of this beloved tradition. With the support of an amazing group of volunteers, Titan Plumbing Group creates a vibrant and creative float that reflects the holiday spirit and community pride. The volunteers decorated the work trucks, H-vac and Pete Blacks dump trucks with holiday lights. From brainstorming themes to being in the parade, our team and volunteers work together to make the float a standout, showcasing the joy and unity that this season brings.

The parade itself is a lively celebration, filled with music, hot balloon fire, and greetings of “Merry Christmas” echoing through the streets. For Titan Plumbing Group, participating in this event is more than just a chance to get creative—it’s an opportunity to connect with the Fowlerville community and spread holiday cheer. We’re grateful for the volunteers who make our float possible each year and look forward to many more festive celebrations to come.

This video was produced to highlight the Christmas in the Ville event, held every Christmas, in Fowlerville Michigan. Each year, Titan Plumbing Group Sponsors a float, and participates in the parade. Santa Claus and Mrs’ Claus were definitely in attendance as well as DarthVader from Star Wars. We mostly enjoyed seeing the other businesses light up their rides and the hot air balloon engines keeping us warm.

Tips for preparing your residential plumbing in a cold Michigan Climate:

  • Insulate your pipes: Locate and insulate pipes that are most likely to freeze, such as those near crawl spaces, attics, or outer walls. You can use pipe sleeves, heat tape, heat cable, or newspaper. Ideally, water infrastructure is not installed in your home or businesses outer walls, pipes should be located in the interior walls of your home.
  • Keep the house warm: Keep the thermostat at a constant temperature of at least 55°F to prevent pipes from freezing white you’re away. You can also open cabinet doors in the kitchen and bathroom to allow warm air to circulate to the walls containing pipe.
  • Disconnect hoses: Disconnect garden hoses and shut off and drain the water from pipes leading to outside faucets as winter approaches. Michigan winters will freeze everything! This also goes for sprinkler systems.
  • When you’re away: If you’re going to be away from home for an extended period, you can shut off the water supply at the water meter and drain all the pipes. You can also ask a friend or neighbor to check your house daily to make sure it’s warm enough.
